Chiranjeevi has given wise counsel to the film industry soon after the results for MAA elections were declared on Sunday evening. Although he was not referring to the results per se, the 'Acharya' actor possibly knew the result when he was making the comments.
Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Pelli SandaD', the Megastar said that it doesn't look good to spar over small positions (read MAA President). "Whatever it may be, we all have to stand united. If we sling mud at each other amongst ourselves, we would be demeaning ourselves in the eyes of others. Is it necessary?" the 'Bhola Shankar' and 'Godfather' actor asked.
It has been perceived that Chiranjeevi had favoured Prakash Raj, who has lost badly to Manchu Vishnu in the elections. Earlier on Sunday, the 'Sye Raa' actor cast vote, so also Pawan Kalyan, who too had a similar counsel while speaking to the media after casting his vote. Power Star, too, is believed to have voted for Prakash Raj, the losing candidate.
