Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab has been in the news for a long time. Directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju, the film is an official Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster Pink, which has Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.

There have been a lot of rumours that Shruti Haasan is part of the film. However, later, the actor rubbished all the rumours. In a recent interview that she has given to a leading entertainment portal, Shruti has confirmed that she is part of Vakeel Saab.

Shruti will be playing Pawan Kalyan’s wife in this film, the part played by Vidya Balan in Nerkonda Paarvai opposite Ajith.

Nivetha Thomas stepped into the shoes of Taapsee Pannu. Telugu actress Anjali and Ananya Nagalla are reprising the roles of Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang from the original Hindi film.

Shruti has paired up with Pawan Kalyan earlier for Gabbar Singh and Katamrayudu. Gabbar Singh was a huge hit back then while Katamarayudu failed in impressing the audiences at the box office.

For Vakeel Saab, they have paired up for the third time and this news raises expectations. The teaser of Vakeel Saab will be unveiled on September 2nd, marking the birthday of Pawan Kalyan.
