As the Karnataka state Assembly election is just one year behind the speculations have already started. One of the TV channels have made a speculation that century star Dr Shivarajakumar is contesting from Rajajinagara Assembly constituency from Congress I ticket. This is the strongest base of Bharatiya Janata Party, the current MLA and former minister Suresh Kumar has won consecutively from Rajajinagar and he is regarded as the cleanest politician in the state BJP circle.
As the Congress I is picking up strong names to uproot the strong base of BJP, one such speculation came up in a television channel.

Dr Shivarajakumar speaking to media in Hassan said don`t give ears to such wrong rumors. I am not going to enter politics but don`t know about my wife Smt Geetha. She is already in social service.

The visit of Congress I vice president Rahul Gandhi to our house to condole the death of my mother Smt Paravathamma Rajakumar was just a visit and nothing has to be attached to it he says.

It may be recalled that Smt Geetha Shivarajakumar contested from Janata Dal Secular party in the last Lok Sabha seat from Shimoga but trailed far behind in securing votes. She was in 3rd position in the results declared.
