Chetan Kumar

A superb actor with very flourishing thoughts in mind Chetan Kumar has missed several Kannada films and still regarded as notable actor says in a chat at Myna` get together event that he is not confused.

Convincing` Chetan Kumar is not happening from many writers and directors. So he has done a screenplay for a real life based subject and it is slightly periodic that traces back to 40 years.

When something is not fetching to your observation, thoughts and brilliance it is time to do a story for yourself is the present scenario of this gentleman Chetan Kumar born and educated in USA.

A variety of flourishing thoughts in Chetan Kumar and his keenness in knowing several things made this journalist to ask him whether he is confused. I am not confused but very clear on what I want says actor of Aa Dinagalu, Birugaali, Suryakanthi, Myna with two guest appearances in Raam` and Dashamukha`.

For the forty years old real life happening that focus on love and underworld Chetan Kumar has spent lot of time to make a convincing screenplay. He is looking at the angle of how best the film of his screenplay could bring money for the investor. My intentions are clear - accepting films, it should become memorable and producer should be saved. I can make a guess whether a film could stay in the mind of audience and make money. On these factors I am not coming close to several scripts I have heard. I could not even take up a film like Allama` with top ranking director TS Nagabharana for my own reasons says Chetan Kumar.

In his free time Chetan Kumar is doing lot of social work. For the youths and women organizations my services are lent he adds.

On taking up direction for his own screenplay, Chetan Kumar observes doing two works before and in front of camera is a strain. When the strain is seen on the face of the actor the performance is not possible completely he opines.
