I am not against Tamil : S J Suryah

Director turned actor S J Suryah has begun his next movie titled BF, which he says means 'Best Friend' and not anything else as has been imagined by a section of the media.
But more than the abbreviation, the very fact that it is in English has upset the usual suspects in Tamil Nadu.
But Suryah says he is not against Tamil.
"Since I have titled my movie in English that doesn't mean I am against Tamil. I love the language and respect all those fighting to promote the same".
Speaking about BF, Suryah says, "this would be my fourth directorial venture and the success of New has emboldened me to play the lead role in BF. A new comer Jothy acts opposite me.
"The movie is a collection of interesting events that I encountered in my personal life, Suryah says.
The crux is about two estranged lovers who get reunited thanks to their memories of their past happy days.
The shooting for the movie would begin on 6 January and would be released this May, he says.
