Three prominent women achievers actress Bharathi Vishnuvardhana was honored by her husband Dr.Vishnuvardhana Smt.Anasuya Manjunath and Smt. Nirmala Rajasekhara Koti in the field of medicine and journalism were also honored by their respective husbands.

One of the nation's best playback singers Kavitha Krishnamurthy Subramaniam was given the 'Abhimani Award' on the occasion of 24th year of Abhimani publications.
