Appreciation pouring in from various quarters for her role in 'Peranmai' has made Vasundhara more responsible. The young actress, who made her debut in 'Vattaram', says she is now more serious about acting.
"I am more serious about my profession now. I would like to do solo heroine roles with a lot of scope to prove my acting abilities. Also if I have enough footage, I would have no qualms about being part of multi-starrers," she says,
A trained athlete, Vasundhara says the NCC cadet role in the movie was very much demanding. "Initially we had difficulty adjusting to the climate in the forest, but such difficult situations brought the best out of us. I am an athlete and I love nature, so I had no complaints."
On working with S P Jananathan and sharing the screen with 'Jayam' Ravi, she says, "Jananathan is an award-winning director. It was nice to be part of his project which gave us insights into several aspects of film-making. Working with 'Jayam' Ravi was exciting. He guided us all through and helped us give our best shot."
Is ready for glamour roles too? To this question, the actress says, "I am ready to do whatever the role demands. Since my last two movies ('Jayamkondan' and 'Peranmai') were of a serious kind, I wish my next project would be a light -hearted one."
