Shakeela, the Malayalam adult film actress, has revealed that she doesn't own any bank balance. There was a time when she used to act for a pittance. The 42-year-old actress couldn't save much.

"Although I am not rich, I am happy with whatever I have. My status hasn't seen any hiccups. For example, I continue to live in the same house where I have lived over the decades," Shakeela says.

She is not really happy with her personal life, with her mother and other dear ones developing differences with her. Is marriage on the cards? "No. And I don't think about the future as a single woman because that would make me anxious. I don't want to adopt kids either, as I fear that my image may rub on to their lives when they grow up," Shakeela says.

She will be seen in Sampoornesh Babu's 'Kobbari Matta', which releases on August 10 .
