Who is saying that he is neither cunning nor innocent, but funnocent? It's the 'Eedu Gold Ehe' star Sunil saying that. In the Ganesh festival special teaser released today, Sunil, Posani, and Shakalaka Shankar are re-introduced as cartoonish characters out to have you in splits.

Producer Anil Sunkara, director Veeru Potla ('Bindaas' fame) and Sunil are confident of striking gold with 'Eedu Gold Ehe'. Sushma Raj and Richa Panai are the female leads in this movie produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under A.K.Entertainments India Pvt.Ltd banner and presented by ATV.

Music is by Mani Sharma's son Sagar Mahati, and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. The teaser of 'Eedu Gold Ehe', released a few days ago, presents a range of characters and it seems we are going to see the Sunil of the early 2000s here. If so, it will be a treat for the audience, who have been missing the Sunil of the early days for so many years now.

Featuring the usual suspects, the teaser goes to show that writer-director Veeru Potla has got it right. From Prudhvi, to Naresh, and a a flying Vennela Kishore (playing a ticket collector) and a Prabhas Sreenu who gets bloodied as Sunil hits him accidentally, the teaser has them all. Shakalaka Shankar and Master Bharat are also seen. Posani Krishna Murali is seen taking a selfie with a badly beaten-up character.

To top it all, a gun-wielding, trigger-happy baddie with an angry grimace chasing Sunil means that there is formulaic entertainment in store. Get ready for the laugh fest

We gotta wait to watch the twist in store. Does Sunil have two shades, where one character begs not to be caught and the other on a rampage? Why is he called gold?
