The pre-release event of 'World Famous Lover' was held on Sunday evening, and it was graced by the film's cast and crew. The event witnessed an energetic speech by Vijay Deverakonda.
"It was four years ago that I started out as a male lead with 'Pelli Choopulu'. In these four years, I have had both hits and flops. I own a clothing line, I did a Tamil movie, I have started a production house. The journey has seen only two constants. Number one, you people (fans). You have been with me since 2016. This is just the beginning. I am entering a new phase this year. The other constant is that I always aim for a sixer every time. Some of them were big sixers. Others didn't work. I don't have any fears," VD said.
Deverakonda said that 'WFL' is going to be his last love story. "Tastes are changing. As an individual, I am entering a new phase. Since 'WFL' is my last love story, I have played three kinds of individuals in the movie. They belong to different social classes, different temperaments, etc. If one story is set in Hyderabad, another is set in Paris and the third one in Singareni. Kranthi Madhav's script is quite interesting. Playing the mine worker Seenayya was fun. I can never be in a relationship with a foreigner and so, the Paris episode (with Izabelle) in the movie is a different experience," VD added.
"The heroines have delivered their career-best performances. Izabelle is from Brazil and she did the role after learning Telugu. Aishwarya Rajesh and Raashi Khanna have nailed it," the actor said.
"My films will continue to give you a new experience every time. That's my guarantee. Come fall in love with our film this Valentine's Day.
The film will hit the screens on February 14.
