Pawan Tiwari, who lent his helping hand to director Zaigham Imam in releasing his much appreciated film "Dozakh- in search of heaven" as a co-producer, has acted in the film as well, and he is thankful to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan who showed his support for the film on social networking site.

When asked Pawan how he was approached to play the role, he said, "Zaigham Is a very old friend of mine and he approached me for the role, he insisted that I should do it." When asked him further what made him co-produce the film, he said, "When we were shooting for the film my father passed away, and the plot of the film revolves around a father-son relationship, so I am very emotionally attached to the film. Back then while shooting, the film suffered from financial crisis due to which it was on hold and I didn't want such a beautiful plot to be shelved so I decided to co-produce the film. Me and Zaigham have dedicated this film to my father."

Pawan is also glad that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has shown his support for this film, he says, "Its a proud moment that Mr. Bachchan has tweeted about our film, its a boost to our morale. I had approached Jaya ji, as she was my father's colleague in politics, to support our film. And its an honour that Amit ji and Jaya ji liked our film."
