SS Rajamouli attended the pre-release event of Nithiin's 'Check', which will hit the screens on February 26. Speaking on the occasion, the 'Baahubali' director said that he is eagerly waiting for the thriller.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajamouli said, "There is only one song in the movie and it's fantastic. Songs have become crucial these days in drawing the audiences to theatres. I have also learned from Chandu (director Chandrasekhar Yeleti) that the BGM is superb." Rajamouli appreciated Kalyani Malik, the music director, who is his relative.

"Chandu is confident about 'Check'. As soon as I saw the teaser, I felt that I should watch it only in the theatre. The backdrop of a jail, the chess game are interesting. Due to the influence of OTT, audiences are pining for new-age films. 'Check', I hope, will blur the mass-class dichotomies," the 'RRR' director said.

Nithiin, Rajamouli said, has been doing all kinds of movies. "He hasn't limited himself to particular kinds of movies," the director added.
