I am donating Rs 1 Cr for now: Nagarjuna

Akkineni Nagarjuna is the latest celeb to make a stellar contribution to the welfare of cine workers, whose livelihood has been affected due to the film industry lockdown.

Lockdown is a harsh reality and a necessity!!! Appreciating the response from my colleagues. I am donating an amount of Rs 1 Cr for now as my bit for the well being of daily wage-earning cine workers during this Corona crisis. May God bless us!! the 'Manmadhudu-2' and 'Wild Dogs' star said. Since Nag has used for now in his tweet, it's assumed that more is set to come from him.

Earlier today, Mahesh Babu donated Rs 25 lakhs and the Daggubatis (Venkatesh, Rana and Suresh Babu) gave away Rs 1 Cr for the same purpose.
