It's known that 'Kalaavati', the first song from 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', has got leaked. The Mahesh Babu-Keerthy Suresh song will be released later on Sunday officially. The song leak has shocked and saddened music director Thaman, who put out an audio statement expressing his sadness.

"I am really sad. I don't know what to say. We worked on the lyrical video for six months. The song shoot rendered eight coronavirus positive cases. Their effort was humongous. The producers' investment, our love for our hero, the director's enthusiasm, the lyricist's poetry... everything has gone down the drain due to the leak. The mixing was done in the best way," Thaman said.

"I don't know whether to be angry or sad. I don't know whether I should just move on. I usually am a strong person. But this particular leak has saddened me beyond words. I am putting out this video in public domain because the one who leaked the video should understand what he has done," Thaman added.

The film, directed by Parasuram Petla, will hit the screens on May 12.
