One notable feature in Tamil cinema is that most top-notch heroes prefer not to don roles with grey shades and if at all they do, it's mostly a dual role film where they play both villain and hero. Doing away from these will be Ajith's 'Mankatha' where he plays a baddie from the beginning to the end of the movie.

When Venkat Prabhu came up with the script of 'Mankatha' he had five new faces in mind but Ajith, who wanted to do a different role through his 50th offering wanted to don the role of this baddie. When Venkat Prabhu expressed his worry to Ajith that the role isn't that of a good character but of a criminal, watch this video to hear what Ajith had to say!

Ajith has proved himself once again as an actor par excellence, with his passion for acting and entertaining his fans. Truly, 'Mankatha da...' from tomorrow! All set folks?
