Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is largely known as an action hero but there is no denying that he has an impeccable comic timing as well. In a recent conversation with IANS, he shared that although comedy is his favourite genre, he loves doing all kinds of films. The actor also stated that he is sort of greedy when it comes to work and since Akshay wraps up around half a dozen films a year, that statement should not be hard to believe.

"Though comedy is my favourite genre, I love experimenting with different roles. I have a hunger for this, I constantly chase the new. So one could say I am a very greedy kind of a person when it comes to work," he told IANS.

Earlier this year, Akshay had starred in action comedy flick 'Bachchan Pandey' which featured him as a violence loving gangster. The film also starred Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi in primary roles but it failed to make a buzz on the box office.

'Bachchan Pandey' is set to have its television premiere soon and talking about that, Akshay said, “I’ve taken up a film like this after a long time. Not only does it sketch out the hero to be an unconventional villain but also, the whole film outlines a fresh narrative for the audience to just sit back and enjoy.
