A 30-year-old woman in the Medak district of Hyderabad reportedly passed away after she came to know that she tested positive for Covid-19. Health officials have suggested that the woman died due to fear after contracting the infection.
The 30-year-old woman, who was running a fever since Wednesday, underwent her Covid test at a health facility in Toopran on Thursday morning. "After she learnt that she tested positive for the infection she suddenly lost consciousness and died at the health facility itself," a senior health official at the facility was quoted as saying by a news agency. The official further added that the woman had a history of diabetes for the past three years and died moments after she heard the news of her diagnosis.
