Hyderabad now has got 12 containment zones, which will be kept under extra surveillance by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for the next few days. Here are the names of the areas: Ramgopalpet, Shaikpet, Alwal, Chandrayangutta, Red Hills, Malakpet-Santoshngar, Kukatpally, Kuthbullapur, Mayurinagar, and Yousufguda.

A majority of positive cases in Hyderabad are from these areas. The containment clusters have been barricaded. Restricted movement of everyone except health-related officials has come into force from Wednesday night. Nobody can enter these areas, and the residents of the areas can't leave them.

Out of Hyderabad's 150 cases, these areas have got 89 cases.

There has been an intensification of the spraying of disinfectants by municipal authorities.
