Hyderabad: Cops punishing those violating Janata Curfew

It seems Janata Curfew is not voluntary in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad police are implementing it using force. So much so, punishment is being meted out to those who are breaking the voluntary curfew.

As reported by journalist Paul Oomen for Times Now, those found on the roads without a valid reason are being stopped by cops and made to stand holding awareness-related placards.

Somewhere, constables were seen hitting a biker's vehicle with sticks.

"While the bandh is voluntary, it seems Chief Minister KCR seems to have instructed cops to implement forced clampdown for 24 hours," a Facebook user says.
