In a distrubing incident, a teenage boy has allegedly died of shock after he was caught stealing chocolates from a supermarket in his neighbourhood.
The incident has been reported from Hyderabad, where a 17-year-old boy, identified as Sateesh, had gone to a local supermarket along with his two friends to buy chocolates. According to reports, he had shoplifted a couple of chocolates and hid them in his pockets. As the three of them walked out, the security guard allegedly called them, leading Sateesh to throw away the stolen chocolates. However, he collapsed on the security guard as he was being frisked, apparently out of fear and shock.
When he did not gain consciousness, Sateesh was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Although Sateesh's friends claim that the guard did not attack him, his parents have filed a complaint with the police alleging assault by the security official. The teenager's body has been sent for a post-mortem while an investigation of the matter is underway.
