Hyd: Teen boy causes death of months-old baby in road accident

An underage driver of a car from Hyderabad has been booked for culpable homicide for causing the death of a 14-month-old baby in a road accident. The gory road accident took place near Bowenpally and involved the accused's car, an autorickshaw and two two-wheelers.
As per media reports, the accused is a 16-year-old college-goer who had taken his father's car and went out on a drive. He was driving rashly when he lost control and rammed his car into the approaching autorickshaw, in which the victim, his grandmother, and others were travelling. The grandma, auto driver and others have sustained severe injuries.
The police have booked the juvenile offender under relevant sections of IPC and Motor Vehicles Act. Soon after the accident, the accused went absconding.
