There are many ways of raising funds for noble causes. Commoners have relied upon innovative ways to do so.
In Hyderabad, a group of software engineers has joined hands to raise handsome funds towards financing the education and livelihood needs of 300 orphans. They will be cycling from Hyderabad to Rameshwaram - in all, 1200 km - to raise funds for Milaap, the NGO.
"We will start from LB Nagar in Hyderabad on February 8. Our journey will conclude on February 14," the group has told Times Of India.
This is not their first such mission. In the past, by pedaling hundreds of kilometers this way, the group raised up to Rs 20 lakh for various causes.
