Hyd: Father-daughter duo experience hell as lift gets stuck

Allegedly due to negligence at Lanco Hills, Manikonda, a father-daughter duo on Sunday had a close shave with fatal danger when they were stuck for 40 minutes in a lift.

As per The New Indian Express, the maintenance of the lift was not proper, which is why it got stuck, leaving a middle-aged man and his little daughter in the lurch.

The Raidurgam police on Monday registered a case against the management and the residential complex's security guards. Since the child is all of 2.5 years old, she was frightened by the experience, news reports suggest.

As soon as the inmate of the complex entered the lift, it got stuck. He pressed the emergency button but to no avail. After struggling to break open the door, he could rescue himself along with his daughter, reports say.
