HYBE Faces Legal Battle Amid Cult Allegations: BTS and Others Caught in the Fray

HYBE is entangled in legal battles with the CEO of its subsidiary, Ador's Min Hee Jin, with no apparent negotiation taking place on the horizon. Daily reports are being filed, evidently trying to outdo one another in efforts to tarnish each other's names, prompting fans to do their best to protect their idols from the media frenzy.
The first allegations appeared to try to tie HYBE and its artists to the Dahn World cult, allegations to which the company denied any involvement at all. The suspicions are baseless, said HYBE through a promise to take legal action against any violations of their artists' rights.
It is speculated that these accusations are built upon accusations lodged against the CEO of Ador, whom shamans are said to consult for advice on managing their affairs.
There were also reports linking the HYBE-associated groups GFRIEND, LE SERAFIM, and BTS to the Dahn World cult. Dahn World, led by Lee Seung Heon, believes that humans and gods are one, worshipping the goddess Mago. It was a coincidence that GFRIEND's last single was Mago, fueling rumors of their connection to the Dahn World upon their disbandment.
On the same day, BTS faced renewed allegations of chart manipulation. Making it all even messier, the majority of BTS members are enrolled in Global Cyber University, whose founder is the founder of Dahn World. The accusations of concept theft did not leave Bang Hi Syuk, the founder of HYBE, alone. And while chart manipulation accusations are involved, HYBE assured an iron-fist response: We're actively monitoring and gathering evidence against malicious posts. Our stance is unwaveringâno tolerance for such acts.
