In New Delhi, there has happened a bizarre incident that has put a pregnant wife in a spot. The other day, she was kissing her 22-year-old husband and, while at it, she bit off the man's tongue. As a result, he has lost half of the tongue. The pregnant lady, who is expected to deliver a baby in a month, has been detained for the violent act.

Reason? As per the police, locals have said that the woman has always been unhappy with her hubby's looks. The husband is a street artiste and had quarrels with his wife since they got married in 2016.

Days before the biting-off incident, the couple had a big duel and fell out of each other. They patched up later.

As per a PTI report, the victim has undergone a surgery at Safdarjung Hospital. As of now, he is unable to talk. The doctors are unsure whether he will be able to talk in future.
