Hurry, hit theatres before school begins

The month of May has definitely been an active month for cine industry, with atleast seven movies hitting the screens. The month began well with director Pandiraj’s ‘Pasanga’, which essentially being a film for kids, has been running to packed houses, along with SJ Suryah’s ‘Newtonin Moondram Vidhi’.

This Friday too, will be a high-voltage one at the Box Office, given Ayngaran International’s fourth production, ‘Sarvam’, hitting the screens. The film has Arya and Trisha in the lead, and has created enormous expectation amongst movie goers, being directed by Vishnuvardhan following his all time blockbuster, ‘Billa’.

Competing with the romance is a commercial entertainer, ‘Rajadhi Raja’ that will be playing to the gallery audiences. If ‘Sarvam’ is the sleek city romance, ‘Rajadhi Raja’ has elements to woo the average movie gore, with five heroines, and Larencce traipsing with all of them for it. This one is directed by Shakthi Chidhambaram.

The next week is also going to be of high importance, given that Vishal’s ‘Thoranai’ will hit the screens. The movie stars him and Shriya Sexy Siren, and is said to be an unpretentious entertainer. Dr Ram’s ‘Brahmadeva’, a psychological thriller, will also get released next week. May 29 will see Madhavan’s ‘Naan Aval Adhu’ hitting the screens.

It finally is time to rejoice before yet another year at school begins.
