Vishal is optimistic that his performance in Malaikottai will win him accolades.

Directed by Boopathy Pandian, Malaikottai features him in the role of a happy-go-lucky-youngster.

Vishal says,” For the first time, I have played an action-packed role laced with humour. I am elated with my performance in the movie. Malaikottai will hit the screens on 21 September”.

Heaping laurels on Boopathy Pandian, Vishal says, “He is a talented director, who knows the value of time. He shoots at a brisk pace but does not compromise on quality. Priya Mani plays my heroine. She is a good actress to work with”.

Stunts are by Kanal Kannan and Vaithi handles cinematography.

The team includes G Sasikumar (editing), Kalyan Shobi (dance director) and Na Muthukumar and Yugabharathi (lyrics).
