Huma Qureshi after winning accolades for her roles in Bollywood made her Tamil debut as Superstar Rajinikanth's ex-lover in 'Kaala' directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Dhanush. Her second movie in Tamil is with none other than Thala Ajith in 'Valimai' in which she is playing a powerful role and even learned bike riding for the high octane action sequence with the mass hero.

Huma Quereshi has shared that she has got ten times more than her usual electricity bill and has taken to twitter to express her shock writing "What are these new electricity rates ?? @Adani_Elec_Mum Last month I paid 6k .. and this month 50 k ????!!! What is this new price surge ?? Kindly enlighten us".

Many celebrities like the common folks have been affected by the huge electricity bills during the coronavirus pandemic when it is not possible for the officers to take the meter reading. Earlier actor Prasanna in Chennai and actress Karthika Nair in Mumbai again have made similar allegations against the electricity boards.
