'Hulchul' is almost a regularly used slang word in the Telugu states to denote anything celebratory or boisterous. It's also the title of a film starring Dhanya Balakrishna and Rudhraksh Uthkam in lead roles, the film has been directed by debutante Sreepathy Karri.

"I am playing the female lead for a change. The story is the soul of the movie. The script is absolutely mind-blowing. Thota Raj garu of 'Arjun Reddy' fame is the cinematographer. We are glad that producer Raj Kandukuri garu of 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Mental Madhilo' fame has released the Concept Poster," Dhanya says.

Director Karri says, "It's a youthful, thrilling entertainer. Even though this is my first movie, I am glad that producer Ganesh Kolluri garu gave us immense support. Everybody has given an energetic performance. We are motivated by the response our film is getting in the social media."

Krishnudu, Madhu Nandhan, Gemini Suresh, Shanmukh, Jogi Naidu, Ravi Prakash, Priti Nigam, Banda Raghu, among others, are part of the cast.

Music is by Hanuman and Bharath. RK Reddy is the art director. Editing is by Prawin Pudi. Thota Raj of 'Arjun Reddy' fame is the cinematographer.
