It has been all quiet on Mahesh Babu’s front.

The young hero who tied the knot with Namratha Shirodkar recently has studiously avoided the media.

It is not as if he wants to escape the questioning on his marriage.

It is just that he is busy concentrating on his next venture Athadu. He is so involved that even his honeymoon was only short.

Coming after the failures of Arjun (in terms of returns to the producer) and Nani, Mahesh needs some success to keep him on course.

The insider report is that the film has come out very well and already there has been a huge demand for the film’s remake rights.

But Mahesh has always been popular on the remake circuit.

His Okkadu, Arjun have been huge hits in Tamil ---both the films were used by Vijay in Tamil.

No wonder Athadu too has attracted Vijay and he is busy scouting for its rights.

But incidentally Editor Mohan is also angling for the rights.

Mahesh Babu can afford himself a chuckle or two.
