Huge blast in Beirut kills tens of people injures thousands

A huge explosion took place in Beirut, Lebanon and the video of the explosion is going viral on social media with so many millions of people sharing and talking about it. In this explosion, it is said that around 80 people were dead and at least 4000 were wounded.
Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, said 2,700 tonnes of ammonium nitrate exploded after lying unsecured in a warehouse for six years, tallying with reports that a ship carrying a similar quantity of the chemical had unloaded its cargo at the port in 2013. It remains unclear what caused the chemical to ignite.
In a video, the Governor of the country was all in tears and uncontrollable as the situation gets worse. This blast has been so strong and extreme that it caused an earthquake in the country.
The sudden devastation overwhelmed a country already struggling with both the coronavirus pandemic and an economic crisis. For hours afterward, ambulances rushing in from around Lebanon carried away the wounded. Hospitals quickly filled beyond capacity, pleading for blood supplies, and generators to keep their lights on
