Massive announcement on Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi OTT release!

National award winning Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who had made her Tamil debut in 2008 with the action thriller Dhaam Dhoom is making a return to Tamil cinema with the movie Thalaivi directed by AL Vijay.
Produced by Vishnu Induri, Thalaivi is the biopic of yesteryear superstar and former chief minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha, and has Kangana playing her role. The movie also stars Arvind Swami, Samuthirakani, Madhubala and many others in important roles and has music by GV Prakash.
The latest update on this movie is that, Thalaivi's OTT streaming rights have been sold jointly to Amazon prime video as well as Netflix for a whopping 55 crores, and the movie will first have a theatrical release, followed by joint premiere on both these platforms, as said by Kangana in a recent interview.
