It has already been reported that the 2019 blockbuster Kaithi, starring Karthi, will be remade in Hindi. Reports suggest that the male lead for the project may have been finalized.

Kaithi, that released alongside Vijay's Bigil, emerged as a critically-acclaimed blockbuster. The shooting of the Hindi remake, which will be jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures, is expected to begin after the entire cast and crew of the project is finalized. Sources close to us have informed that 'War' hero Hrithik Roshan might have been roped in to play the role of Karthi in the movie.

While it is expected that Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is now busy with Vijay's upcoming movie Master might be directing the remake version as well, official updates regarding the entire cast and crew are awaited.
