The pandemic has brought the workings of entertainment industry to a complete standstill. Although this hasn't affected big stars too much who are sitting in their mansions waiting for situation to get better, but several junior artists and side actors have found themselves out of work and broke. Actor Hrithik Roshan has come forward to help these artists by donating a sum of 20 lakh rupees through Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA).

His help will be directed towards as many as 5000 artists below the poverty line. This isn't the first instance. Hrithik also came forward to the aid to daily wage artist's during the first wave of Covid-19. He donated 25 lakh rupees at that time.

An official from CINTAA said, "Hrithik Roshan had helped us during the last lockdown too; he had donated Rs 25 lakh. This time, the money he gives us will be utilised in getting 5000 members of the association vaccinated and help members below the poverty line with ration."
