Hrithik Roshan: doesn,t take things lightly

Hrithik Roshan doesnÂt take his work commitments lightly. No matter if itÂs only a stage performance. The Agneepathstar recently performed on stage for an awards event after almost six years.
This performance was then to be televised with the main event. However, true to his perfectionist streak, Hrithik actually sat through the edit himself for over two days to make sure that the television cut was up to the mark. And all his hard work paid off too, as after staying up for several nights, first for rehearsals, then the edit, the actor had to stay up for the next few nights too, just replying to the congratulatory messages that he's been getting for his performance.
Those close to Hrithik would vouch how the actor usually takes up a day or two to even reply to messages. But this time around he was so overwhelmed that he spent two-three nights thanking all his well-wishers. WhatÂs more, the actor was even trending on Twitter for his performance.
IÂm in a bit of a shock! shares Hrithik talking about the hit response his act has been garnering. I was told that it was trending for almost 21 hours and I think that was crazy. ItÂs overwhelming, really.
Being his usual modest self, he adds, This was my first performance in six years and I was quite surprised with the response. ItÂs inversely proportionate to the reaction that I was expecting the performance would garner. I think the credit goes to Ganesh Hegde who choreographed the act and his team.
As for not getting swayed by a response like this and in fact even with him winning Âsexiest man titles, the Bolly heartthrob says that he doesnÂt look at them as a big deal.
Once you are aware of the amount of hard work thatÂs gone into it, and knowing that anyone who puts his mind to doing that kind of hard work can achieve it, that acts as a leveler. Guess acknowledging this is also how I keep my head screwed firmly to my shoulders, smiles Hrithik, who post his successful stage act is now gearing to begin shooting for Bang Bang in Kashmir.
