Fresh update on Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayan'

Filmmaker Madhu Mantena's Ramayan based project has been in news ever since its announcement but unfortunately, the project is struggling to take off. The film is still in the casting phase and actors Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are rumored to play Lord Ram and Raavan in it respectively. According to a Pinkvilla report, both the actors recently had a meeting with makers and director of the film.
A source told Pinkvilla, This was among their first joint meeting with Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, who play Raavaan and Ram respectively. They discussed the massive vision of this project and even the tentative plans of taking it on floors sometime in the second half of next year.
Makers wanted to make a grand announcement on Diwali revealing the cast of principle characters Ram, Raavan and Sita. Since the casting for Sita is still underway, it looks like the announcement might take a while.
