A little while ago, Farhan Akhtar announced his next directorial venture, titled 'Jee Le Zara'. Written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, it is essentially going to be a roadtrip movie centered around three friends played by Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. It is being marketed as an all female adaptation of Zoya Akhtar's previous film 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.

ZNMD starred Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol as three friends who embark on a road trip in Spain and have new revalations about themselves. The film was a blockbuster at the time of release and went on to become a cult classic over years. Latest buzz suggests that Farhan, Hrithik and Abhay might make a cameo appearance in 'Jee Le Zara'.

A source close to the project told India Today, "The lead actors - Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol - are friends and still very much in touch. There is a possibility that there will be some sort of a cameo or a crossover between ZNMD and Jee Le Zaraa. It will be interesting to see how their characters developed and where they are in life after their road trip adventures. Farhan is deliberating the idea of merging the characters from ZNMD into JLZ for a surprise cameo."
