Hrithik croons for Kites

He can act well, dance well and now he has attempted to sing as well The green-eyed star has rendered his voice for Anurag BasuÂs much awaited film ÂKitesÂ.
In fact the directed was the one who suggested Hrithik Roshan to sing for an English song in the film. The actor had been initially apprehensive over the idea. But once Basu convinced him, Hrithik was a game for it. He immediately put his heart and soul to get his sur aur taal right.
Incidentally his co-actor Barbara Mori was supposed to sing along with Hrithik. However the plan didnÂt work and singer Suzanne has sung the part.
And guess how the recording took place? It was done while the studio was in pitch dark! HereÂs what Hrithik has to say about it, ÂWhen the actual recording was to be done, I got them to switch off all the lights in the studio because I wasnÂt being able to get my best out. Only when the whole studio was blacked out, did every note fall perfectly into place.Â
He further said that the team loved his first take itself and didnÂt allow him to improvise on it.
