It was that time of shooting for Panjaa in Vagamon in Kerala, when the unit faced the problem of an uprorious public creating one too many hassles for them. The security personnel deployed on the location would find it very difficult to stop the onlookers from causing problems to the shoot.

There were situations when the crowds were too uncontrollable. They caused much problems for the heroines to move around freely or leave the spot after the pack-up call. At this juncture, Pawan helped the girls himself by offering them to be escorted in his own car.

The actor was very much conscious of the need to protect all the unit members, including, very importantly, the women. Thus, keeping aside his stardom, he did the job of offering them protection like a responsible unit member.

The schedule at Vagamon had to be wrapped up earlier than they expected to because of the surging crowds!
