Team Kaashmora interacted with the media a while ago in Hyderabad. As the film gears up for a grand Diwali release on Oct 28, Karthi and producer PVP sounded upbeat.

Prasad V Potluri said, "This is a socio-fantasy mass masala entertainer. 'Kaashmora' will thrill like 'Arundhati'. A film that children will love to watch, this is a family entertainer for this festive season. The thrilling visual effects are for about 90 minutes. In the Telugu States, we are releasing it in about 600 theatres, Nizam alone accounting for 200. Worldwide, the Telugu and Tamil versions together will be released in about 2000 theatres."

Sri Divya, who plays a researcher exploring the world of spirits, said, "I am as curious as everybody to watch this entertainer."

Karthi said, "Director Gokul, Art director Rajeevan and the entire cast and crew worked hard for about 2 years to make this possible. When 'Baahubali' released, we stalled the project for two months as we thought the benchmark had now become higher. That's why, we made changes to 'Kaashmora'. If 'Baahubali' caused pressure for us, our task became easy with the same Vfx and graphics team that worked for 'Baahubali' working for 'Kaashmora'. From horror and comedy to suspense, our film has everything that the audience love to watch. This is the right candidate for Diwali. This is a one-of-its-kind movie that wasn't seen even in Hollywood."

Karthi further said that even though there are two heroines (Nayanthara and Sri Divya), the film is low on romance quotient. "I am happy that I got to do a film like this even though I am just 12 movies old. This is the kind of film that only a 30 movies-old actor should do. This 27th is my dad's birthday. The success of 'Kaashmora' will be a gift to him. Not for me, but for the director's sake should this one become a hit. I did 'Oopiri' since the time 'Kaashmora' started, but Gokul was exclusively involved with this project."

The actor said that it used to take up to five hours to do a scene as wearing the make-up alone took 3.5 hours. "I wonder how Kamal Haasan garu did 10 roles in 'Dasavatharam'. I am playing two roles here. If Kaashmora does comedy, Raj Nayak is serious. The audience will be thrilled to watch both these characters in a single frame. Whenever an actor does such an experiment, the audience are reminded of NTR garu and Shivaji Ganesan garu. I asked Nassar garu as to what I should do so that the audience don't get their memory while watching me. To which he said that it is impossible."

Karthi revealed that if the film becomes a big hit, there will be a second edition a la 'Baahubali-2'.
