There are two ways in which remakes are seen. If there are directors like Puri Jagannadh who feel that big stars going after remakes will affect the creative climate negatively in a given industry, actors like Ram Charan think otherwise.
Speaking to a national daily, Mega Power Star has this to say about remakes. "It is a healthy practice if people feel that the subject can be localized," the 'Rangasthalam' actor says, adding that films are an art form that can have a universal appeal.
