Come July 22, Rajinikanth will scorch the scenes. Meanwhile, we bring you some exclusive details about how director Pa. Ranjith has sketched the Superstar's character. Learn about the same from the director himself:
"While writing the script, though I was concerned about doing justice to Rajini sir's confidence in me, I made sure that I write the character 'Kabali' keeping Rajini sir's image aside and make him fit into the character on the lines of how it has been written. I have changed many things that one would normally associate with a Rajini film.
1. Punch dialogues have been avoided.
2. There won't be any dialogues advising women on how they should behave.
3. He won't utter any dialogue, pointing his finger upwards, referring to the God.
4. Sir generally walks fast. But I wanted him to walk slow with the aged getup. Even in the scenes where I felt he has walked faster than required, I have purposefully reduced the speed. But in the young get-up, he will walk in his usual style.
5. As far as acting is concerned, he has given a very realistic, simple and powerful portrayal.
6. Rajini sir has moved away from cinematic acting to realistic acting in 'Kabali'.
People will love him in this role. Audience can easily connect with the character through Rajini sir in this film, There is a particular small portion in the film that involves an emotional conversation with his daughter. He has done it brilliantly."
