Deepa Sahi simply loves garlic soup. For, it was this magic potion that saved her life in Nako in Himachal during her road romcom 'Tere Mere Phere', produced by Ketan Mehta and Anup Jalota.

Deepa was besotted by Nako in the Himachal and wanted to shoot in this particular place where nature was at her artistic best. But the travel was only possible with skeletal crew and a car. After two landslides when the crew could not reach, Deepa took ill.

The crew still braved and took her through with the team. "At Nako, I thought I am going to die. In fact, I was very sure. I had this fever and the cold was doing strange things," recalled Deepa.

When Deepa requested the drivers to take her back in case she falls very ill or dies, the drivers bravely told her not to worry. But the locals went one step ahead. They went and made her a garlic soup, the Himachali style. "Have this, they told me. And tomorrow, you will be perfectly fine. I did and serious enough the next morning, I woke up and said oh, it is so beautiful. I want to shoot here!!!!," remarked the director.

And Nako when captured on camera seemed worth all the effort. But Deepa still thanks the humble garlic for the miracle cure.
