Guess what is the most exciting and most popular locations for Telugu filmmakers? Is it an exotic spot in interior Greece? Nah. Or is it one of the picture postcard beaches of Brazil? Nah again. Or is it Singapore or Thailand? Nah. Naha. Nah.

Well, suddenly the nondescript Binny Mills compound in Chennai is the most popular among Telugu industry of late.

In the last two months alone three movies have been shot there.

And all the three have been high profile ones. Dharani has shot Bangaram's climax there. Puri Jagannadh canned a major portion of Pokiri there. Now Chiru is shooting for Murugadoss's Stalin there.

This Binny Mills is a historical one in Old Chennai. But the mills had fallen on bad days and is now not in operation. So it has come handy for Telugu filmmakers.

In Chennai itself, the sprawling smooth ECR Road has been another attraction for Telugu directors.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi who has been shooting in Chennai for Stalin has been swarmed by fans there. His association with Chennai goes a long way back. He started his career there. He has some very good friends there. And now he has chosen a groom for his daughter from there.
