There have been reports that the biopic of the legendary actress Savithri is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu titled Mahanati` directed by Nag Ashwin. Samantha is said to be a part of the movie through whose character the story unfolds.
Latest buzz about Mahanati` is that Vidya Balan has been approached to portray the role of Savithri in the biopic. Vidya already received a National Award for doing the role of Silk Smitha in Dirty Picture` and now if she gives her nod to this project it will become a biggie thanks to her market value. Lets keep our fingers crossed on this one.
