Over the years there have been many reports and speculations regarding the love between Vishal and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. The fire was further stoked when Vishal declared that once the Nadigar Sangam building is completed his marriage will be the first event there and that the girl would be a "Lakshmigaramana ponnu".

The latest news doing the rounds on the internet is that in a recent press interaction Vishal had said that he and Varu are childhood friends and that their marriage would definitely happen in the Nadigar Sangam hall. It even suggests that treasurer Karthi has already been requested to block a particular date for the grand event. However the date has not been mentioned in the reports. Both Vishal and Varu are known to speak their hearts and if this is true they themselves will announce the same and its really highly unlikely to be an authentic report.
