Maniratnam signs 'Kochadaiyaan' actress for 'Kaatru Veliyidai'

Manirathnam is on a marathon spell of shooting for his Kaatru Veliyidai` in Ooty and other parts of The Nilgiris. In the romantic thriller Karthi plays a pilot and Aditi Rao Hydari is his love interest. Music and lyrics are by A.R. Rahman and Vairamuthu while cinematography is by Ravi Varman and production is taken care of by Madras Talkies.

The supporting cast includes Shraddha Srinath, R.J. Balaji, Delhi Ganesh and KPAC Lalitha. Now Rukmani Vijayakumar has been added to the cast. The Bharathanatyam dancer turned actress debuted as heroine in Bharathiraja`s Bommalattam` and has acted in Ananda Thandavam` , Kochadaiyaan` and Shamitabh`.
