The shooting of Raghava Lawrence`s new movie Shivalinga` directed by P. Vasu was happening in Mysore for the past couple of weeks. Kannada extremists have launched a stone pelting attack on the hotel the cast and crew were staying in and they are unable to get out of their rooms.

Shivalinga` is the Tamil remake of the Kannada super hit Shivalinga` starring Shivarajkumar and Vedhika. Ritika Singh is the heroine while Vadivelu is playing an important role. No one was hurt in the incidence.
