Radhika Apte was in the limelight last week after a lovemaking scene between her and Adhil Hussain for the film Parched` leaked on the internet. In an interview to a leading English news channel the Kabali` girl opened up about the controversy.

Radhika has stated that when another nude clip of her from an international project leaked on the internet a few months ago, she was upset but this time instead of the issue rattling her up was a liberating experience which made her more comfortable with her body. She asserted that she is doing nude scenes for the sake of art and it is much better than heroines wearing skimpy clothes and doing vulgar dance movements. Her exposure to world cinema and how actresses are comfortable flaunting their bodies have inspired her and that her husband and parents supported her when the issue came up. She finished off by saying that when Parched` releases people should watch it and judge for themselves whether the scene is justified.
