After a slight hiccup due to Jyothika walking out of the project, director Atlee has resumed Vijay 61` shooting which is happening in ECR right now. Nithya Menen who has replaced Jo is performing opposite the Ilayathalapathy for some important sequences.

Vijay 61` which is a A.R. Rahman musical is bankrolled by Sri Thenandaal Films and has an all star cast comprising of Kajal Agarwal, Samantha, Vadivelu, Sathyaraj, S.J.Suryah, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan.
